Outlook Express - Change existing Account information
1.Open Outlook Express
2.Click on "Tools",
then "Accounts".
3.Select your existing email
account from the list of accounts, then click on "Properties".
4. Click on the
"Servers" tab.
5. Under "Server
Information" change
"Outgoing
Mail (SMTP)" to smtp.radix.net
6. Under "Incoming Mail
Server", change "Account Name" to your email address (e.g., support@radix.net)
7. Under "Outgoing Mail
Server", check "My server requires authentication", then click
"Settings".
8. Select "Log on
using", then enter your email address under
"Account Name" and enter your password. Click on "OK".
9. Click on
"Apply", then "OK".You have completed the Email Settings.If you read UseNet News groups, proceed to step 10, otherwise you are
finished.
10. To modify the News Server
settings, click on the "News" tab. Otherwise click on
"Close" to complete the modifications
11. Select the existing news
server account, then click on
"Properties".
12. Click on the "Server"
tab, then check "This server requires me to log
on".
12. Change “Server Name” to
usenet.radix.net.
14. Enter your email address
under "Account Name" and enter your password. Do NOT select "Log on using Secure
Password Authentication
15. Click on
"Apply", then "OK".
16. Click on "Close"
to complete the modifications.
