1. Open Thunderbird, click on "Tools" then "Account Settings".

2. Under your existing email profile, click on "Server Settings".

3. Change "User Name" to your email address (ie, support@radix.net).

4. Click on "Outgoing Server (SMTP)".

5. Change "Server Name" to smtp.radix.net

6. Check "Use Name and Password", then enter your email address under "User Name".

7. You have completed the Email settings. If you read UseNet News groups, click  on "news.radix.net" and proceed to step 9.

Otherwise click on "OK" to complete the modifications

8. Click on "Server Settings".

9. Change "Server Name" to usenet.radix.net

10. Check "Always request authentication when connecting to this server".  

Do NOT check "Use secure connection".

11. Click on "OK" to complete the modifications.

12. When connecting to the news server, enter your email address when prompted for "User Name".
