Dial-up Changes for Windows 2000 Systems

1) Right click on the "My Network Places" icon on your desktop, then choose
   "Properties" from the menu that comes up.

2) Once you've opened "My Network Places", double click on the "Make New
   Connection" icon. This starts the Network Connection Wizard, Click "Next" 

3) From the list of choices, select "Dial up to Internet", and click "Next".

4) In the "Phone Number" window, enter your local access number from the 
   phone list provided.

   Be sure to put both the phone number and the area code in the PHONE 
   NUMBER box and leave the area code box blank. Click on "next".

5) The next window should ask you to "Choose this connection for ALL users 
   or only for yourself"  It's your choice.  Most customers will want to
   select "All users". Click "Next".

6) Now Name the connection you just made.  Call it something descriptive like
   "Radix05".  Be sure to check the box at the bottom that says "Add 
   Shortcut to my Desktop".  Click "Finish".

7) You should now return to the Connection box and should now be ready to 
   connect to Radix.  Click the "Dial" button when you are ready.
