Thoughts on Running - bobg
Below are some running related links and articles. While I'm not an expert
on running, I do try to read and listen to others.
My articles, and those by others I'm
hosting, are offered on the basis that I'm a returning runner (ran senior
year of high school, then essentially nothing for over 15 years) who is
primarily interested in fitness, though I use the occasional race to help
me focus (and vary) my running. If this is not too far from your interest,
then these notes might be helpful. Injury avoidance, rather than greatest
speeds has been a major point for me. I note that I've tried to supplement
my experience by reading books on running (I'll get them listed later).
An excellent place to start, rather than with the notes below, is the
rec.running FAQ
and rec.running Beginner's FAQ
Please note that some of the articles were written while I was at a different
Internet service provider. My correct address is: bobg@radix.net
