Certified Internet Webmaster, i-NET+ certified, Certificate in Data Processing. I have taught courses in data communications, microprocessors, digital design, C/C++/Java programming, systems analysis, data base management and related topics.

EMPLOYMENT

85 to present: Assistant Professor, Park Uiversity. I teach courses in visual BASIC, C/C++, Java, object-oriented analysis, design, and programming, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and data base management systems. I planned and implemented a local area network consisting of 14 computers. This project was funded by a National Science Foundation grant. I was a part time employee at Unisys, where I worked as a senior programmer. I used Oracle in a Unix environment. Involved in the development of a local area network to connect Army users in the Washington D.C. area. I was on this project from August 1989 until March of 1991. In 1992, I was awarded a NASA Summer Fellowship in 1995. In 1998 I was named to "Who's Who Among America's Teachers".

79 to 85: Air Force Systems Command, Andrews AFB, Maryland. Responsible for providing automated support/office automation support for the Deputy Chief of Staff, Plans and Programs. Controlled data bases on two DEC 2020 minicomputers. I managed the procurement and introduction of desktop computers. I managed over 20 word processing systems. Helped plan and implement two local area networks.

76 to 79: Defense Intelligence College, Washington, DC. Taught courses on on-retrieval systems, information systems, and systems analysis techniques to members of the intelligence community. The college was linked to the network of intelligence computers at the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, and the Central Intelligence Agency.

72 to 76: Armed Forces Air Intelligence Training Center, Colorado. I was in charge of a team that taught the use of various data base management systems to Department of Defense users throughout the world. These teams would travel to sites and present courses on how to set up and operate these data base management systems.

71 to 72: Task Force Alpha, Thailand. Officer-in-charge, Target Operations. I was in charge of integrating sensor information with other intelligence and getting this information to aircrew members for action. I was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and two Air Medals.

69 to 71: University of Arizona, Tucson , Arizona. The Air Force sent me to graduate school to study systems engineering.

67 to 69: Tactical Air Warefare Center, Eglin AFB, Florida. I was an intelligence officer involved with the development of an air emplaced ground sensor system used to monitor infiltration activity.

66 to 67: 13TH Air Force, Clark Air Base, Philippines. I was a Photo Intelligence Officer. I supervised approximately 20 men.

66 to 67: Armed Forces Air Intelligence Training Center, Colorado. I was a student at this school.
