Runner's Final Checklist
The following checklist is designed to help make sure that you are ready for
the race. Feel free to print this page and pin it to your gear bag.
Before You Leave Home
 | Be sure you are properly trained to run an 8 kilometer (5 mile) race under
hot and humid conditions. |
 | If you plan to leave your gear bag or other items at the Runner Bag
Drop-Off, be sure you don't bring anything valuable. |
 | Be sure you have your runner number bib |
 | Enter the name and phone number of a person we can contact on race
night in the event of an emergency. |
When You Pick Up Your Chip
 | Make sure that you have your runner number bib and not
someone else's. |
 | Make sure that the chip number printed on your bib is the same as the chip
number printed on the chip envelope. |
Before You Go to the Starting Line
 | Make sure your chip is fastened securely to your shoe. |
 | Drink at least one cup of water |
 | Make sure your bib is pinned to the front of your t-shirt,
singlet, or shorts. |
