Metro is now open until 2:00 a.m. on Saturday nights, so no worries about missing the last train. Take the Metro Red Line toward Shady Grove. Get off at the Rockville Station. (If you find yourself at Shady Grove, you've gone too far; turn around and come back one stop.) Upon exiting the Rockville station, cross Rockville Pike (Route 355) to Middle Lane and follow the signs, people, or music. See the Metro Map and our race site map, if you're the visual type. Directions to Friday and Saturday Packet Pickup at RnJ SportsPacket pickup on Friday night (6 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and Saturday (noon. to 4 p.m.) are not at the race site. At those times, Packet Pickup and late registration will be held at RnJ Sports Discounters (formerly Racquet and Jog), 11910-R Parklawn Drive, Rockville. Get there by taking the Montrose East exit off I-270. Go east on Montrose, cross Rockville Pike (MD355) turn right at Parklawn Drive. Alternatively, take Route 355 North from the Beltway, turn right at Montrose, and right again at Parklawn. For the directionally challenged (especially the guys in the crowd), we have a little "Getting There" Map, which might help avoid the embarrassment of having to ask directions. Allow plenty of time to get yourself to the race site not later than 8:00 p.m. We won't be holding the starting gun for you to pick up your runner number and ChampionChip or stop at the portajohn. |
