The Rockville Rotary Twilight Runfest represents a unique collaboration among the City of Rockville, the Rockville Rotary Club, and the Montgomery County Road Runners Club. Planning, organizing and conducting this event is a year-long endeavor -- starting the day after this year's race. It's worth noting that, in addition to the effort of dozens of Rockville Recreation and Parks personnel, there are over three hundred individuals who volunteer their time and experience to make this race the success that it has been for over thirteen years.

In addition, the Montgomery County Road Runners Club and the Rockville Rotary Club supply a total of over three hundred volunteers to raise sponsorship and conduct the numerous activities associated with the race.
