Conditions for the 17th running of the Rockville Rotary Twilight Runfest
were, ...well, back to "normal". Runners lined up to a typical
Rockville summer evening -- hot and humid. Up until minutes before the scheduled
start time (8:45), the conditions were still in "black flag"
territory. Finally, the "Dry bulb/Wet bulb" measurement dropped into
"red flag", and race director, Dennis Steinauer, was able to give the
go-ahead signal to the starter. Wheelchairs, 8k runners, and fun runners
all had to battle the humidity, and results show correspondingly slower finish
times.
This
section contains the overall, age-group, team, wheelchair, and award winning results
-- not yet certified, but "pretty much complete" (technical term
often use by scoring professionals).
All awards and rankings are based on Gun
Time. Net times are provided to give individual runners an
accurate timing of their start-line to finish-line performance. (It took
almost two minutes for all runners to cross the start line.)

female open and masters), age group award winners, and wheelchair award
winners.
-- Results of the open and masters coed team
competitions.
-- complete listings of order-of-finish in each division -- based on gun time. Note: these are somewhat large files (over 50K bytes each).
