What special circumstances should I be aware of?

May I make a higher bid on my last bid if the only person bidding is me? Yes.
If I pass, may I make another bid later? No.
When may I lead a tarock? When a tarock has already been played, or if it is your only choice.
When may I lead the Fool? Any time a tarock may be led.
If the Fool acts as Excuse and it leads, what is the suit of the trick? Whatever suit the second player plays.
What if I am dealt a hand with no tarocks? You must announce mandatory Klop.
What if I am dealt a hand and the Fool is the only tarock? You must announce mandatory Klop.
The Fool (as Excuse) is the last tarock in my hand. Must I play it as a trump card? No.
The Fool (as high or low trump) is the last tarock in my hand. Must I play it as a trump card? Yes.
Must I play a tarock with a higher value than others in the trick? Only if playing French style!
May I discard a king when I take the Talon? No.
 May I discard one of the Trula? No.
 May I discard a non-Trula tarock? Yes, but the tarocks must remain face up.
When must I reverse the Pagat in my hand? When you have announced Pagat Ultimo.
When are announcements made? In Low Bid games only, after the Talon is exposed.
I lost the 21 in a High Bid game. Am I penalized? No.
I am the Declarer's partner, and I played the Fool to trump his 21. Am I penalized? No, only the player of the 21 is penalized. You are merely cruel.
I am the Declarer's partner, and we lost the called king. Are we both penalized? Yes.
I announced Pagat Ultimo, but now I want to play it in an earlier trick. May I? No.
 What if it's my last tarock and a non-final trick requires a trump? Play it and forfeit the Ultimo.
I am the Declarer's partner, and the Declarer announced Pagat Ultimo but failed. Are we both penalized? Yes.
I am the Declarer's partner, and the Declarer did not announce Pagat Ultimo, but he played and lost the Pagat in the final trick. Are we both penalized? Yes.
I am the Declarer's partner, and we won all the tricks. Do we have to take the Valat bonus? Yes.
 Can we also claim an Ultimo? No.
Can anyone double a Klop? No.
Can anyone double a High Bid game? No.
