William Hogg
1781 - 1844

William Hogg Jr. (son of William Hogg and Elizabeth Marshall) was born in Edinburg, Scotland. He married Margaret Lumsden in 1798 in Plinploth, Scotland. He was a wheelwright, carrier, and tollgate keeper (in Dalkeith, Scotland). He emigrated to Philadelphia in 1829, and moved to Franklinville, NY in 1832. He is buried there in Mt. Prospect cemetary.
