In order to provide our customers with the utmost in service, we have devised a Gentle Load System to load the bees into our custom made boxes. By using this technique, the bees are stressed far less, which enables us to ship them across the United States because they are in better health and will last longer. In order to ship our bees across the country, alive, we created a box that resembles an oversized matchbox with a mesh plastic screen that slides in between grooves along the inside walls. This box has proven indestructable to the U.S. Postal System and is very reliable. Our boxes are custom made by hand by the local Amish people from the wood cut from our 185 acre farm and are filled with a small amount of sugary paste for the bees to eat during travel.
