VCR Instructions
You must use the Phillips remote.
Moving around the menus: PLAY (up), STOP (down), REW (left), FF (right)

Correcting the Clock:
TV (to select it over the VCR)
POWER
Go to channel 2 to get the time
Go to channel 3
MUTE
VCR (to select it over the TV)
POWER
MENU
INITIAL SETUP
CLOCK
Use FF to Tab to the field you want to fix
PLAY to Insert info
EXIT (under MENU) to remove the menu
POWER off the VCR so the clock shows
TV (to select it over VCR)

Add Recording:
VCR (to select it over the TV)
POWER
TIMER
STOP (down) to QUICK PROGRAMMING
FF (select) The display should read ONE TIME PROGRAM
a. Editing Fields
use CH pad to go to channel you want to record
Enter the actual channel, NOT channel 3
Select the time. For safety, use -5 before/+5 after minutes
To start entering time, hit the 1 key.
1 (START) press = 1 min jump, hold = 30 min jump
2 (STOP) press = 1 min jump, hold = 30 min jump
SPEED, SP = 2 hrs, LP = 4 hrs, SLP = 8 hrs
3 (DATE) press = 1 day jump, hold = quick jump
EXIT to remove the menu
POWER off the VCR. You should see a little clock on the VCR
TV (to select it over VCR)
Don't power on the VCR again! You can watch TV

Edit/Delete Recordings:
VCR (to select it over the TV)
TIMER
STOP (down) to PROGRAM REVIEW
FF (select) The display should list recordings
a. Edit
STOP (down) to select the one you want to edit
FF (select)

b. Delete
CLEAR to remove the remove the recording
EXIT to remove the menu
POWER off the VCR so the clock shows
TV (to select it over VCR)
