Jackson

This is the CD I was listening to throughout much of  the breadmaking. Despite appearances, I'm pretty sure Joe Jackson goes to 11.

Other than sound quality, can you guess why I like CDs better than cassettes?

This is my BIG MUG of coffee I was drinking from while working on the bread.

I know it's not really a mug, but BIG CUP sounds stupid when I say it out loud.
Coffee
Risen

The dough on the pan has risen beacause the yeast ate the sugar before being killed by the salt. It's now full of little round air bubbles.

It's NOT a bagel.

This is the butter I melted in a much smaller cup than the one pictures aboved. It's used to glaze the bread twice - once before baking and once after baking.

If I was better organized, I would've bought a round tub of butter.

Butter
Rack

This is the cooling rack I use when baking bread. It was in my house when I first moved in. I don't think it was designed to be a cooling rack, but I don't know what it was designed for.

Even though it says "Rival" in the middle, I don't consider it to be competition.

The bread after coming out of the oven and being brushed with melted butter a second time. I know I said the pan was disposable, but I'll bet you I use it again.

Wanna bet?
Baked
Knob

The bread was baked at two different temperatures. It was finished at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the second knob we've seen that controls a small environment.

That makes me believe in a higher power.
