If you like, you can listen to this MIDI version of "Under the Sea" I wrote a long time ago. It's based on the Easy Piano version since I wrote this using the Adlib Composer (wow, that's ancient software) and didn't really know what I was doing at the time. During the conversion to a MIDI file, something happened so the instruments aren't right.

What is an Arielholic?

To put it basically, an Arielholic is a person obsessed with Ariel, Disney's The Little Mermaid. The term was coined by Steve C. Liu in a post to the usenet newsgroup rec.arts.disney some time in 1993. The original post was a list of ten ways to tell if you were an Arielholic. At the end was the suggestion that if you answered yes to any of the ten questions, you should enroll in Arielholics Anonymous to cure yourself.

While no one took it seriously (and they shouldn't), the term "Arielholics" became Steve's one claim to fame on the newsgroup. It has become somewhat of a net.joke on the newsgroup along with r.a.d's FDC (Future Disney Cabinet)

The original post has since been enlarged with more information on Arielholics Anonymous. To see the new article, click on the highlighted words below.

So what's Arielholics Anonymous?

Arielholics Anonymous is an organization dedicated to curing the world of Ariel, the deadliest drug ever developed. Unfortunately, we have a success rate of zero. But don't lose hope, you can lessen the effect of Ariel.

This homepage is put out as an information center about Ariel. Information available includes a character list, a FAQ and links to more in depth Ariel sites. This site also tries to have links to all Ariel-related creative material excluding fan-art.

Comments? Suggestions? Want to rant at an insane Sleeping Beauty fan? Click here to e-mail me!
Please make sure to have very explicit Ariel-related subject headers in anything you send to me via e-mail, I get about a hundred messages a day and often I'll quickly delete through my mailbox. Thanks.

Don't ask me about finding copies of TLM because I don't have that information. Complain to Disney about their distribution policy.
