my "Dead Mike" contest entries
Final Version:
Ideals:
- while Sterling's description mentions disassembly; I went for multiplication through death
- at the center lies Big Mike...brown...limp...frowning
- springing forth from Big Mike are new "mikes"; they are similar to Big Mike but not identical - they aren't even labeled as "Viridian"
- this design is somewhat fractal in nature
- this design also makes use of the Golden Ratio
Further notes:
- this design was announced the winner of the contest in Viridian Note #137
- in accordance with the precedent set by Big Mike's creator, I will try and get a nice PostScript version up for re-use
