                             Original text

                      English Translation

The nozzle plate of the print head has 96, 128, 192 or 352 nozzles, which in turn are fed by 32 or 64 ink channels. Located around these ink channels are the piezoelectric transducers. When a train of pulses is sent to these transducers, the result is a brief increase of pressure in the channels and the ejection of ink droplets, forming the printed image. The ink itself is gravity fed; a pump is not necessary.
