CHAPTER VII, PART 4. WHAT'S YOURS IS OURS

~From the Horse's Mouth~

This is a partial log of a chat between Mary Ann Hetrick [CCMahoni] and Maggie Stewart regarding some files that a submitter wanted removed from the Archives. This chat took place on 13 Jul 1999 and was publicly posted online at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohmahoni/chat/990713.txt. Note particularly the instructions apparently given by "Linda" [Linda Lewis, Coordinator of the USGenWeb Archives Project] to Maggie on how to handle this situation.

On July 15, this chat was reported in the Daily Board Show and shortly thereafter the online version of the chat was altered to eliminate the material above. The altered version of the chat is still posted at the URL above.

The files in question remain in the USGenWeb Archives; nearly all of them show they were submitted by Maggie Stewart and nearly all of them were uploaded on July 15 1999. The originals are posted to the Lawrence county, OHGenWeb page.
