The orgy idea grew from a post someone made to alt.games.the-sims, noting that although Sims get jealous if their spouses or lovers hug, flirt with, dance with, or even compliment another Sim, they don't get jealous if the spouse or lover plays in bed with another Sim. The post mentioned the nonjealous Sim just standing around by the love bed. I thought it might be fun to put a love bed in the middle of a dance floor at a party so the other party-goers would be dancing and talking while the love bed action was taking place. That led to the idea of an orgy, with as many lovers as possible making use of the love bed.
The first try at an orgy took place at the mansion on Lot 2, where an independently wealthy family of nudists live. Using Paladin's Sim Wardrobe program, I changed all the adults in the neighborhood into lingerie, drag, and other outfits suitable for an orgy (except, of course, the nudists, who remained nude). Verylisa will recognize a lot of the lingerie skins she made for Boutika (and now found at her own site, Very Sim), though I renamed some of them to fit other body types. I finally got Bob Newbie out of his ratty T-shirt and into that leopard print lounge suit--no renaming needed for that one, it was one of the few outfits I found for fat males.
It was only my second or third party of any kind. I bought a lot of party stuff, hired a caterer, put the tacky heart love bed out by the dance floor, and waited to see what would happen. The only person who seemed surprised to see the bed outdoors was the gardener, and she was just leaving anyway.
The Sims seemed to be enjoying themselves, with bull-riding, dancing, and more dancing,
but no love bed action. I realized I had made a mistake: Only a couple of the nudists have lovers among the neighbors, and the nudists were the only ones I could control. Next time, I would have the orgy at another house, where there was more scope for action. Meanwhile, they were here, so figured I'd do what I could. I had Eden try her luck.
She got Galen, her fellow nudist and long-time lover, to play in bed with her. That's Jeff Pleasant dancing in the background. The other problem with this party was that I couldn't get enough people on the dance floor to make a crowd around the love bed.
I think I next had Mallory, another of the nudists, get in the love bed, but her only lover turned her down. I don't seem to have gotten pictures of that.
Energy was starting to get low around this time, and it was before the magic fruitcake was available. The party went on into the wee hours and everyone seemed to have fun. Nola, one of the punk lesbians, spent the entire party, until at least 2 a.m., in the hot tub; she was one of the last to leave. And Bob Newbie couldn't seem to stay out of the dance cage,
though Mortimer Goth finally got a turn (that's Bella coming to watch).
So the party was a success as a party, but not as an orgy. I learned some things that I was able to put in practice at the Burnsides when I tried again. Go to Page 2 for the first Burnside orgy.
