Rather late in the party, Laura finally turned the love bed over to the Senator.
No one took any notice at first, so Neil chose Thomas to join him in the love bed. But Thomas was inside the house, and before he could get out to the bed, the party crasher had whipped her clothes off and was climbing between the sheets. Those tattoos are seriously ugly. She must have had a friend do them while they were both drunk or high.
Now this chick doesn't know Neil from Adam, but--pot belly, crossdressing, and all--he's a Senator, and they say power is an aphrodisiac.
Meanwhile, Thomas had showed up and found the Senator otherwise engaged. Thomas gives Laura a piece of his mind and then turns to vent his anger on Neil.
Neil realizes that Thomas is upset and thinks he'd better make amends. The party crasher is reminding herself to carve another notch on her bedpost when she gets home.
Thomas is soooo not in love with Neil anymore. Neil falls back in defeat, thinking that if the music hadn't been so damn loud, Thomas would have heard his explanation.
Neil thinks he ought to go after Thomas and apologize.
But he gets distracted when he realizes that his wife is about to join him. She just can't stay out of that love bed!
But that wasn't what Neil had in mind at all! He has to make it up with Thomas.
Too late! Thomas has left in disgust.
It's well past midnight by now, and the guests have been leaving, by ones and twos. When they have all gone home and the Burnsides are alone, they agree that their first orgy was, all in all, a success. In fact, it was rather exciting.
They leave the party cleanup for daylight and head for the bedroom to celebrate.
