Research for &
Collaboration With:
Authors, Museums,Professionals
& Families
FRI has successfully supported authors
preparing historical fiction novels (Roman to modern) and techno-thrillers.
We have conducted research for historians, museums, lawyers, consultants,
archeologists and other professionals requiring access to the confusing
world of Washington area archives. Support for professionals has
included lawyers, aviation specialties, and consultants. Our reasonable
rates are discounted for longer term retainers.
Family research for records of WWI, WWII, Korea, &
Viet Nam military or merchant marine service requires extensive knowledge
of the data held in various archives, libraries and historical centers.
When you enter the National Archives (on the right), you face a challenging
array of government procedures, rules, regulations and facilities. The
staff of the archives are professional and helpful, but they can't do the
research for you. FRI familiarity with the Archives such as the College
Park MD facility (below) makes our research efforts as efficient as possible.
The research also requires broad knowledge of the military
services, ships, aircraft and other technology. FRI has successfully obtained
and analyzed mishap reports, operational reports, service records and other
materials to help families reconstruct military service histories and particular
incidents. Family research needs are growing as the veterans of WWII age
-- FRI can help!

-

and many other research locations in the Virginia, DC and Maryland region.
